The history of human understanding of the word "ZI" is very long."ZI" means the simple color word "purple" at the beginning,with the development of human’s social and cultural,it gradually owned more meanings,include in the Taoism,imperial power,official rank,auspicious,moral and other aspects of meaning.This paper will start from the aspects of semantics and rhetoric,and analyze the vocabulary of "purple" rhetoric contained in "Chinese Dictionary",and analyzes the semantic and semantic rhetoric generation and rhetoric interpretation of "ZI".And pointed out that the reason of "duality"and "evil purple" dualistic aesthetic differentiation,that this is the result of Confucianism,Taoism culture and royal,official worship and other aspects of the results.Finally,on the basis of the "Tang Poems" as the source of the corpus,the rhetorical interpretation of the"ZI" in the "Tang Poems" is explained.
