| Hayixia · Tabazek is an excellent kazakh female writer with multicultural perspective,who can use bilingual creation and thinking in Xinjiang,and receives extensive attention of the researchers because of unique writing method and profound thoughts.As a female writer,the female images in the works have earned special attention naturally by researchers,but few scholars are concerned about the male image.Hayixia’ representative work Soul Trilogy,the soul in the human world,the soul in the prairie,the soul on the ground,becomes the representative of kazakh female literature since the advent,and has been got great admiration by readers and researchers.These three novels depicts the kazakh female life of grasslands,and widely reflects the kazakh nomadic culture and modern transformation through the life pursuit of kazak females.At the same time these three novels shows the kazakh unique life way,way of thinking and the folk custom culture.Hayixia not only shows kazakh women’s life,fate and pursuit,but also creates various male images.In Soul Trilogy,Hayixia describes different kazakh men in the modern transformation with great cultural connotation in her unique view of women writers,distinct gender awareness and keen observation,and creates different types of male images who hesitate,or pursue,or stick to,or innovate between the tradition and modern,grasslands and cities,civilization and conservative.Taking Soul Trilogy: the soul in the human world,the soul in the prairie,the soul on the ground as an example,this thesis mainly analyzes male images using text method,comparative research and interdisciplinary approach from the perspective of cultural anthropology and ethnology to explore multiple cultural connotation of male images,which can deepen the understanding of cultural connotation to three works.There are five parts in all:The introduction part mainly introduces Hayixia,her works,and research situation of her creation;the first chapter studies different emotional type of male images through analysis of the features of the idealized man,ambivalent men with emotional dislocation,weak men for lack of sense of responsibility in the soul in the human world,the soul in the prairie,the soul on the ground,which shows their multifaceted characters,complexity and contradiction faced with modern culture transformation;the second chapter mainly studies different identity of men in three novels,including fathers,husbands,parents,and intellectuals,respectively from family relationships,sexual relationships,and social relationship etc.to analyze the four kinds of typical male images,which explores the influence on womenl’s survival in their own identity;the third chapter mainly studies the male characters’ cultural connotations.Conclusion part is the summary and reflection. |
