A Report On The E-C Consecutive Interpretation For The Game Forum Of Jilin Animation Institute

The author was given the opportunity to appoint as a consecutive interpreter in the International Game Forum held in Jilin Animation Institute during his graduate life in Jilin Normal University.It is a high level academic forum,which invited many outstanding scholars from home and abroad.This is beneficial to the author's interpretation ability and will accumulate valued possessions for future career.The paper is based on this CI practical activity.The task is very difficult,flawlessly completing the task is still not easy.The paper involves lots of terms about game programming and coding,accounting more difficulties in interpreting.Thus the author also records his pre-task preparation.Problems emerged during the interpretation.According to the real situation,the author selected 5 quality-affecting problems for case study.There will be examples of frequent specific terms occurred in complicated sentences,game language cause inaccurate translation,prolonged blanks over difficult sentences or words,as well as disordered sentence structures and improper use of words.The author takes some documents as reference and strives to come up with solutions.This practice examined the author's CI capability,presenting a clearer version towards CI.All the problems considered accord on-spot ones.Hopefully,they can be of some help to other interpreters.
