On The Application Of Space Time Structure In The Works Of "Repay Of Son" Of Narrative Dance

Dancing is a visual art which occupies some time and space.Through the space-time structure of dancing,which means organizing time and arranging space carefully,the inner world of the dancer can be expressed in a more vivid,specific and intuitive way.In this paper,relevant theory of space-time structure is discussed in basis of the author's narrative dance work "repay of grass",and the use of space-time structure is explored according to the impact and form of space-time structure in a narrative dance work.Firstly,this paper summarizes the basic meaning and role of the space-time structure in narrative works of dance.It points out that the space-time structure makes narrative works of dance narrative speeding up or slowing down,leaving it in a proper speed.So we often compare space-time structure as "catalyst" or "coolant" of art work.Catalyst means space-time structure can accelerate the story process,as well as show what the director wants to express and produce new plot which amazes audience.Coolant means space-time structure can slow down the story or stop the story and change to another.So dancing enjoys the maximum freedom on scheduling of time and space and has the most abundant on space-time processing means of performance.Secondly,this paper expounds the space-time structure in the narrative of dance works,it introduces the space-time structure of fast forward,briefly,and the time of free conversion in narrative form of dance works.These three forms are based on the characters' psychological activities changes as to reveal the plot,render narrative atmosphere,shape the character through the clues,and show the inner world of character,and they are not limited by time and space order,which can even break the limitations of the natural order of time and space,so the time sequence of the structure of the dance sequence is not a corresponding relationship of event sequence,it can use the narrative method such as Syria,flashbacks,interleave,BuXu,Syria to perform infinite life content in limited stage performance,drawing and displaying the rich and complex inner spiritual world of characters,to mobilize the audience dance art in the aesthetic imagination creativity.Finally,it focuses on the space-time structure in the narrative works of dance 'Repay of son'.Using three different methods,author illustrated the great emotion of mother's love which is like sea and sky,making the narrative plot fully,reasonable,completing the audience resonate to achieve artistic effect.Space-time structure represents the narrative works of dance basic situation of the development process,time and space structure can not only make the vocabulary of narrative works of dance more smooth,more profound theme,but the audience can also understand and appreciate the narrative aesthetic meaning of dance works in the most direct,the most fully way,which inspired us to recognize the importance of space-time structure for the narrative works deeper.
