| Mikhail.Gu is one of the most influential and well-known oil painters in the Ukraine.His oil paintings enjoy a number of differences from the realistic style in the Soviet Union.The works have the characteristics of multi-spot perspective,graphic design,loose brushwork and brightening color,which show their unique charm and have people feel the vitality of art works.In my view,the oriental appeal and "vividity" in his painting come from Gu's appreciation idea.What kind of appreciation idea could make his painting realize its aesthetic goal with his proficient skills?This answer is always his enthusiasm to Chinese culture and agreement to Chinese art appreciation standard."Vividity" is considered as the highest level in Chinese art appreciation standard.The nature of "vividity" is the vitality presented in art works,which also can be considered as a status full of freshness.This essay attempts to make connections between "vividity" and the vitality in Mikhail.Gu's appreciation idea,and to interpret Mikhail.Gu's art of oil painting through a new way. |
