Researching On Aristotle's Happiness

Although the discussion of happiness in the history of Western philosophy appeared early,but did not form a theoretical result of happiness system,Aristotle inherited Solon's theory of moral happiness,Socrates and Plato's rational happiness,Founded the discipline of ethics,and formed a more systematic theory of ethics.This article through the literature analysis of Aristotle's ethics on behalf of the book "Nicomache Ethics" in the interpretation of happiness and research.Aristotle's view of happiness is based on the discussion of good teleology,and Aristotle argues that human choice and practice are as good as the art and the study,and the purpose of good is for oneself And some are for the sake of the higher purpose,so that the purpose of the same between the same purpose to form a chain of purpose,Aristotle in order not to make the purpose of the chain endless circle that there must be a highest good,then the good is happiness,because No one wants to be happy.Aristotle also analyzed two kinds of happiness,the highest happiness is meditation,first because the contemplation of the recent connection with God's good;second meditation is the most pure,because in the process of meditation will not produce any external things,and very few Rely on external things,not bound by external things.Another happiness is moral happiness,is the second nature of happiness.Aristotle says that happiness is a real activity of the soul in perfect virtue,and Aristotle divides virtue into moral virtue and moral virtue.Aristotle's view of happiness is also a functional view of happiness,he launched from the human function of human nature that is rational,human function is to play the rational good to launch people's good is a virtuous Real activity.Aristotle believes that getting happiness also requires external goodness.Externally good as luck,looks,strong body and so on.Exceptional goodness has two roles for happiness,one is as a tool and means of getting happiness,and two as a necessary condition for getting happiness.So the goodness of the outside can be compensated for happiness.The other side of Aristotle that the happiness also need some of the necessary quality that is fair,moderate,fraternity.
