The movement of corporate social responsibility started in Western developed countries in the 1980 s.As economic globalization is advancing rapidly,in order to extend overseas influence, increasing Chinese enterprises begin to issue bilingual corporate social responsibility reports. When translating these reports to English, translators should take account of English readers' cultural backgrounds and target language habits so as to ensure concise, accurate and readable translation. It is often the case that Chinese and English are very different in sentence structures and standards for good sentences, and the language quality of the original text needs to be further improved. Therefore,to produce good translation,it is necessary for translators to reorganize the original information by clarifying the implicit logic of the given text, streamlining the original text, and precisely locating the focus of the sentence to be translated.Through the analysis of the case study on Yili Group Corporate Social Responsibility Report 2016,the thesis intends to explore the necessity of and approaches to information reorganizing, hoping to provide reference for other translators and help improve the language quality of Chinese enterprises' English CSR Reports as well.
