| In the context of globalization and cross-culture,the national image has become an important development project for each country.In the internal aspects,the national image is a kind of tool for the state and the government to guide their nationals,to raise the national awareness of the motherland,the patriotism and the national belief;therefore improves the national quality,consolidates the government’s position,strengthens the connection between the people and the country.On the outside,whether a country can build a good,interesting and reliable image in the international eye will affect the country’s reputation,affect the amount of import and export,cross-country investment and promote numerous diplomatic cooperation projects.Since the image of the country has such a great significance to every country and nation,it is clear that Viet Nam can not stand outside this field as a country that is moving towards a better future and developmental trends.As a Vietnamese citizen,the author believes that she should contribute to the country by getting the knowledge that had been studied in China to build the motherland.In the view that the promotional film in the national image is taking a non-negligible of importance and also disseminational of possession,is the most effective mode of transmission of national image,I decided to select the national image promotional film for the study object.In this paper,the comparative study of horizontal synchronicity and vertical diachronic comparative analysis is mainly based on the comparison of the national image of the national image from the time of national public relations.And then using the case analysis method to China’s "China national image – Angle Article" and Vietnam’s "Welcome to Vietnam" in the visual grammatical features and auditory aesthetic characteristics of a detailed comparison,so that each country works of artistic characteristics.To sum up the advantages and problems of each country,in the context of Vietnam’s political ecology and media system,the author wants to use the successful experience of China’s national image promtional film,to avoid its shortcomings,and thus finding out the best direction to built Vietnam the national image promotional films.This paper consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,including the research origin,the definition and logical starting point of the core concept,the literature review and the research method.The purpose is to explain the research background,the research status and the research significance in the national image and the national image promotional film field.Which defines the concept of national image of the film,that is,only focus on the study of the following five special features of the films: the main promotion subject is the state or government departments,the promotion is not for the purpose of benefit,the promotion contents are harmony,the audiences are mainly foreigners,the playing media platforms are the overseas or international common platforms.The second part is an overview of the national image promotional of China and Vietnam,since 2000 to 2016 for China and since 2007 to 2016 for Vietnam.The results show that China is not only earlier producing than Vietnam,the number of films more than Vietnam,but also in the production of technology are much more modern than Vietnam.From the third part,by using China’s " China national image – Angle Article " and Vietnam’s "Vietnam welcome you" as a case study,the author carries out text analysis.The third part is the comparative analysis of the theme and content of the national image of China and Vietnam,especially the content analysis,narrative context,narrative grammar,narrative perspective and role of different angles to compare the two countries in the display the similarities and differences.The fourth part is the comparative analysis of the artistic features of the national image of China and Vietnam,which is divided into visual and auditory two kinds of characteristic art to compare the artistic effect of the two works.The fifth part is the result of the comparative study on the Vietnamese national image of the film’s inspiration.The final part is the summarized conclusion and the research results. |
