Artistic Aesthetics Of Gem Inclusion And Its Application In Jewelry Design

Inclusion is an inherent characteristic of gemstones,and is also one of the criteria for identification in gemological studies.Inclusions in gemstones are accompanied by the formation of gemstones,or the external substances captured during the formation of gemstones,they are an imprint of nature to jewels.Inclusions not only have important identification and research significance in gemological studies,but also their ever-changing forms are of great value in the field of art,which containing macro inclusions is known to the public,such as water agate,crystal,amber,etc.But for microinclusions,the masses know little about them,such as the water lily like inclusions in olivine,the bamboo shaped inclusions in the emerald,the water ripple inclusions in the synthetic gemstones and the centipede like inclusions in the Moonstone,not the macroscopic or microscopic inclusions.There are similarities between the form and the patterns in art.At present,in the field of jewelry design at home and abroad,the application of the package in jewelry design mainly includes two aspects: one is to directly use it as one of the materials of jewelry design,and the two is to use the context of "parcel" to carry out jewelry design.However,there are few studies on the application of the structure of the inclusions to the design of jewelry.This article mainly combines the morphology of the micropackage and the design of jewelry,and presents it in the form of the works,which can make the public understand the microcosmic world of the jewel.This paper focuses on the relationship between the shape and structure of the inclusions and the design of jewelry and the application in the design of jewelry.The purpose is to explore the changes and classifications of the form and structure of the inclusions,and to analyze the characteristics of the solid,liquid and gaseous inclusions.The package,from the angle of design aesthetics,analyzes the shape,color and modeling features of the inclusions,and extracts the characteristic patterns.It studies the jewelry design and innovation through the form of the package,the spatial structure and its significance.In the final graduation design,the form of a kind of package is chosen as the setting.The elements are combined with the shape and texture of the jewelry,using the relevant aesthetic and design principles,jewelry making technology and performance techniques to show the jewelry works.
