With the complexity of modem equipment and the improvement of technological content,technical data is increasing.Traditional paper manual has a series of problems,such as the overwhelming numbers,updating not timely and the use of low efficiency,etc.The development of the interactive electronic technology manual(IETM)has solved the problem brought by traditional paper manual in a degree.However,there are still many problems in existing IETM of our country,for example,it only supports PC terminal equipment and can not be compatible with touch-screen mobile devices;the form of information display is based on static demonstration;information hierarchy is not clear and lack of natural interaction,resulting in users to search information in a difficult and inefficient process.In the era of continuous progress,a variety of new equipment and interactive technology develop rapidly,leading to the requirements of the hardware equipment and operating habits greatly changed.Mobile devices are filled with people's lives,because they are lightweight and portable,while most of screen of existing mobile devices are touch screen.Touch operation is more in line with people's natural habits,immersion and experience brought by direct interaction make users feel better.Therefore,this topic chooses the touch screen mobile device as the design and development object of IETM.This dissertation first studies the standard specification of IETM,and determines the GJB6600 as the main guiding standard.Secondly,we study the application and research of multi-modal in multidisciplinary field,and put forward the concept of multimodal display.This research analyzes the multi-modal display from four dimensions:display dimension,display form,interactivity and presentation channel,and proposes that the multi-modal dynamic display can be realized by the dynamic change of the information itself with the time dimension and the dynamic transformation caused by the interactive operation.This paper mainly analyzes the event information in IETM,which is divided into eight categories:event information,program information,fault information,maintenance plan information,operation information,graphic part information,wiring information and process information,and the corresponding multi-modal dynamic display method is put forward according to their main characteristics.Finally,the Mercedes-Benz vehicle maintenance technical manual is selected as the case,the interface design and interactive design are carried out by using the proposed multi-modal dynamic display method.The final design results show that the multi-mode dynamic display method can make the IETM more intelligent,user-friendly and effectively improve the user's efficiency and accuracy.
