A Report Of Interpreting At The Hebei Satellite Meeting Of China International Technology Transfer Convention 2016

This is an interpreting practice report conducted by the author as an interpreter in Hebei Satellite Meeting of China International Technology Transfer Convention in 2016.In this convention,the author served as an interpreter was responsible for the PPT of the project presentation in the docking room of advanced manufacturing module and the interpretation for the company project connection after the meeting.The main purpose of the report is to guide the future interpreting and cope with the possible problems by summarizing the lessons the author got in Hebei Satellite Meeting and analyzing the advantages and the disadvantages during the process of interpreting.This report is composed of four chapters.Chapter one is the description of the interpreting task.The author introduces the task background and the requirements of interpreting practice in Hebei Science and Technology Market in 2016.Chapter two describes the interpreting process.The author describes the interpreting practice from three aspects: namely preparation,process and summary.After that,the author evaluates the result of this practice.Chapter three which is the main part of this report is the analysis of interpreting cases based on the relevance theory.The author classifies the problems encountered in the interpreting practice.Through case analysis,the corresponding interpreting startegies are proposed.Chapter four is the reflection of the interpreting practice and the prospects for future study and work.
