The Study On Floral Fu Of Nan Chao Dynasty

Early from the era of our forefathers,the concept that every existence possesses a soul has implied our belief of the almighty mother nature.With substantial improvement of productivity and the progress of literature self-awareness,people started to turn their focus from ideal conception to literature in writing form,this thus catalyzed a series of literature involving descriptions of natural beings.As an indispensable part of nature,flora became a critical contingent of literature threading through Dynasties of Han,Weijing,Tang,Song,Yuan,Ming,Qing.Floral Fu is a traditional Chinese literature form focusing on the portrait of various plants including flowers,seeds,grass,trees and vegetables etc,which is a significant branch of Yong Wu Fu(A kind of Fu which focuses on the description of objective existence).In this paper,63 Floral Fu of Nan Chao Dynasty will be discussed as research subjects in seeking for a relatively objective evaluation of their literature contribution.We are to answer the questions involving the origin of Floral Fu of Nan Chao Dynasty,its primary content and artistic characteristics and the influence on later generations.In order to obtain the answers to these questions,the plan of this paper will be stemmed from historical background with a brief recap of current concerned research,the analysis of corresponding historical period for art creation as the major content in the introduction part.Later in the first part of this paper,we attempt to combine the exterior and the interior analyses to elicit the core ideas and emotions of Floral Fu of Nan Chao Dynasty,we will primarily turn our focus on the influence of“Qi Yan”style on the Floral Fu that straightforwardly compares plants to love of women.In the second part,the main topic will be the extraordinary shaping and expressive fashions of Floral Fu of Nan Chao Dynasty,all of these traits combined together highlighted the special attributes of Floral Fu of Nan Chao Dynasty.The Last part will primarily discuss the innovative significance of Floral Fu of Nan Chao Dynasty as a transitional phase of Chinese traditional literature from the perspectives of culture and literature and unveil the everlasting impact on later Chinese literature.Floral Fu of Nan Chao Dynasty is of vital importance considering its excessive contribution to Chinese literature as a transitional phase that inherited yet developed the literature methods of all dimensional description of flora and expression of ideas through establishment of images from the literature legacy of Wei Jing Dynasty and embarked the commencement of later Fu of Sui and Tang Dynasties by further exploitation of literature genre and artistic methods with its consistent pursuit of rhythmic perfection.All in all,the Floral Fu of Nan Chao Dynasty deserves an deeper excavation of its buried precious value and this work is absolutely in great need.
