The Floral Characteristics About Craft And Culture In Qing Dynasty

Canton porcelain is a crucial to Lingnan culture,Lingnan culture and economy contributed to the germination of Canton porcelain.Meanwhile,it's origins and prosperous witnessed the historical changes of Lingnan culture,including the economy,culture and customs.As the independence of flower painting in Chinese traditional painting,flowers were painted on porcelains more and more common.The flowers on Canton porcelain changed due to the influence of Western and Chinese trendy as well as other kind of paintings changed.The change with each passing day.Based on present materials and a large number of objects,I will research the floral characteristics from the early Qing Dynasty to the early Republic period.At first,discuss the important position of flowers on Canton porcelain based on the development of Canton porcelain.Secondly,depending on the different stages of Canton porcelain which were divided by former researchers.,I will relate and analyze the floral characteristics and background in different stages.Then,research the Chinese and Western cultures influenced on flowers painting on Canton porcelain.And finally,the research will inspire me in the graduation practice.I'll take some elements and visual effects of Post-Impressionism combine with traditional Canton porcelain to create my graduation piece.
