| The abundance of parallel texts found online or elsewhere can enhance translators' ability to produce quality translation,as in the case of translating political texts where there are an increasing number of official documents,foreign reports and studies about Chinarelated topics.Based on the translation of The Key Roles of the Communist Party of China in Addressing China's Issues,this paper discusses the effect of parallel texts on improving translation quality in terms of faithfulness,accuracy,political delicacy and readability,while proposing workable solutions to potential drawbacks in the process. |
