Hanshi Waizhuan Narrative Research

This paper intends to explore the narrative characteristics of Confucian classics about Hanshi Waizhuan,the acceptance and transformation of Pre-Qin historical narrative and the influence on narrative literature in the later generations.This article hopes to broaden the research perspective of Hanshi Waizhuan and enrich the research results of ancient Chinese narrative literature.The paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the research status of Hanshi Waizhuan,including volumes and version study,collection,translation,collation and annotation research,text properties research,thoughts study and literature research.The second part is the definition about the questions relating to Hanshi Waizhuan.This part briefly explains the author and the text of Hanshi Waizhuan,combing the concept of the word " narrative ",and summarizes the narrative situation of Hanshi Waizhuan.The third part is the narrative overview of Hanshi Waizhuan.Hanshi Waizhuan is the production of the Sermon activity.In pursuit of certain enlightenment in the sermon,it usually has many requirements for the narrative.It makes the Confucian classics teacher pay more attention to the interest and image of narrative.The narrative language usually rhymes;Hanshi Waizhuan is influenced by the trend of the times of " promoting menstruation ",which made the book facing reality and paying attention to comply with the need of social reality.Thus,the story must be in line with the needs of the classics interpretation.It wants to give full play to the Rite and Music education function of the Book of Songs,cultivate a gentleman,at the same time serve for politics.The fourth part is the relationship between the narrative of Hanshi Waizhuan and the historical narrative of the Pre-Qin period.The narrative of Hanshi Waizhuan inherited the Pre-Qin history narrative,including narrative material and the narrative means.However,Hanshi Waizhuan is the work of interpretation of the Book of Songs,it must attribute to the explaining of Confucian classics which makes Han Ying to do some change in accepting the Pre-Qin historical narrative.The fifth part is the relationship between characterization of Hanshi Waizhuan and the Pre-Qin Historical Biography.Hanshi Waizhuan created many characters,including monarch,minister,female,social lower figures,Confucius and his disciples.In the creation of characters,it draws nutrition from the Pre-Qin Historic writing,such as learning accumulation and flash characterization ways in Zuo Zhuan,putting characters in the fierce conflict to show his character,paying attention to detail description,and highlighting the inner quality of characters.Hanshi Waizhuan has a breakthrough in portraying the female characters and the social lower figures,so that the female and the social lower characters have a relatively independent narrative position.The sixth part is the influence of Hanshi Waizhuan narrative on the later literature works,taking Liu Xiang's three books as an example.Mainly focuses the influence of narrative on Liu Xiang's three books in narrative material and narrative purpose.
