Study On The Role Of Palestine Liberation Organization In Lebanon’s Civil War

After the first war in the Middle East,the palestinians lost their livelihoods,and millions of refugees were displaced,mainly in Jordan and Lebanon.After the black September incident in Jordan,the armed forces of the PLO were transferred to southern Lebanon and established an armed struggle base in Beirut to counter Israeli retaliation and defeat.The arrival of the Palestine liberation Organization,broke the Lebanese two sects sent the balance of power between christians and muslims,Lebanon war brews domestic troubles,the role of the PLO in Lebanon’s civil war and role cannot be ignored.The addition of the PLO to the Lebanese civil war has a great influence on the arab-israeli conflict.This paper intends to analyze the reasons for the change of the policy of the PLO in the civil war in Lebanon.This paper will be divided into three parts,respectively discusses an overview of Lebanon and Palestine liberation organization,PLO involved in the process and the stage of Lebanon’s civil war,the PLO to join the impact of civil war in Lebanon.In the three sections,the paper focuses on the transformation,position and causes of the PLO’s role in the civil war in Lebanon.Furthermore,the influence of external forces on the change of position of P.L.O is analyzed.
