Yupian created by Guyewang in late southern dynasties is the first regular script dictionary in the Chinese history.Compared with Shuowen,Yupian still follows its compilation format,however,Yupian has a main character that it has quoted lots of classic literature documents as documentary evidence and exemplification,which enables Yupian to possess varies of content.Stray Fragments of Yupian as a valuable document for further study in modern Chinese characters has objectively and truly retained the characters appearance of the Six Dynasties.That fragments has important research value in many fields,such as lexicography philology and bibliography.Based on the predecessor research results,this paper puts Stray Fragments of Yupian which belongs to the Xiaoxue category of Jing series in the continuation books of the Siku Quanshu as a master copy and it has compared the relative items of Stray Fragments of Yupian: Mi Bu with ancient book document one to one.With the reference of the edition of Yu Pian written in Song Dynasty,this paper has revised Stray Fragments of Yu Pian: Mi Bu.In the process of collating Stray Fragments of Yu Pian,this paper also can clear up the problems of the bequeath documents.There are main aspects of this paper involves.Firstly,it has a brief analysis to the ancient books' documents that are quoted by Stray Fragments of Yu Pian: Mi Bu.This part's main content is to give a brief analysis to literature category and expression style of fifty or so ancient books documents that are quoted by Stray Fragments of Yu Pian: Mi Bu.Moreover,it lists the Yi Wen from characters dictionary that has been quoted most times by Stray Fragments of Yu Pian: Mi Bu.Secondly,this paper has analyzed Stray Fragments of Yu Pian's types of corruption and excavate the literature linguistic values of Stray Fragments of Yu Pian: Mi Bu.When it comes to the values in philology phonology and exegesis,Stray Fragments of Yu Pian can relate characters to the corresponding ones,reveal the phonetic situation of the Six Dynasties and excavate materials of ancient annotations.In the end,this paper uses the bequeath documents and related characters and rime dictionaries to give a systematic collation to Stray Fragments of Yu Pian: Mi Bu.
