Metal Foil Is Used In Modern Oil Painting

Based on the thought of this paper is the performance of metal foil in contemporary oil painting.Combing the performance of metal foil in the painting at home and abroad.The relationship between metal foil and oil painting that discussion on the performance of metal foil in contemporary oil painting.Completing the practice and theory research that metal foil is used in the contemporary oil painting creation.There are three parts in the article.Starting from the material,introduces four kinds foil that it is including gold foil,silver foil,copper foil,aluminum foil.By introducing the background of the use of metal foil in the development of oil painting,this paper analyzes the techniques used in this background and makes a theoretical basis for the research of the paper.The second part introduces the experimental techniques of metal foil in the contemporary oil painting creation,and analyzes the experimental methods from the commonly used painting methods,such as indirect painting,direct painting,integrated material painting and so on.From the perspective of the three primary colors in the painting,combined with the color transparency and other factors selected three colors in gold,silver,copper,aluminum foil on the comparative experiment,summed up the experimental results,and finally for personal practice creation.The conclusion is to discuss the experimental techniques of metal foil in contemporary oil painting creation,and further explore the new language and its value and significance of oil painting creation with metal foil as material.
