| From Canada wen-ham "housewife writer" to the top of the world literature Noble Prize winner,Alice Munro finished beautiful metamorphosis.Flee,is a repeater explorations of literary theme in her works.Although the theme study of Munro’s novel research is abundant at home and abroad,but the runaway theme of Munro’s novel series study is still very scarce.This paper aimed at the concentration discover of runaway thematic.The introduction section outlines introduce the domestic research review and innovation points and theoretical basis of this article.The first chapter mainly divided from the type of runaway,based on typical character image in Munro’s works,the type of escape can bi divided into three categories:escape relationship level suppress,escape form multiple identities,escape from the mother-daughter alienated relationship.Showing various defective relations,Munro tried to reveal the identity crisis hidden the complex relationship and female rebelling.The second chapter is on the basis of the first chapter to explore the development of women self-awareness,this paper argues that figures in Munro’s novels experienced self-identity,self-reconfiguration,self-reconcile through the method of close reading.In fact,all of the exploring aimed at solving the problem of the identity of women.Female’s self-construction means self-growth.and the ultimate recognition of identity.The third chapter analysis the real value and theoretical significance of the runaway thematic from three point of view:the text express of marginal Canadian historical filed,personal writing of poetic interpretation and the theory of postmodern feminism of literature embodies.The fled theme is not only the product of a particular age,culture and personal experience,but also it is an enduring theme of the history of literature and a common human survival problem beyond the boundaries of nationality,race and gender.So the study of escape theme is of great realistic significance.Munro depicts two quite different type of escape results.The one kind ends in completely leaving,the other kind ends in returning.The author tries to reveal that people cannot achieve the most extreme individual survival ideal,because they are always in the serial of social relations network.So Munro promote reconciliation.She serves fled as a pilgrimage and thinks that reconciliation means women or the human spiritual growth.This article intend to study that what Munro express is not simply about feminine self-construction,the author pay her attention to female individual experience in order to take a generality survival strategy of human. |
