With the development of times and progress of science and technology,people’s life is filled with various kinds of media.It can be said that media affects basic necessities of people’s life.Famous Canadian media theorist Marshall Mcluhan once said that “media is information”;media knows the changes of the world and guides the social trend.Various kinds of information is resorted to auditory and visual nerve of people through various communication channels in way of sounds,symbols and words etc.This information is changing people’s ideas and behavior continuously,which has great influence on the social development.This paper mainly takes mobile phone as example,analyzes symbol feature of our popular music as well as the phenomenon appeared in spreading pop music by mobile phone and explores the influence and changes brought about by continuous development of mobile phone to spreading of popular music.The writer mainly studies popular music spread in mobile phone from the perspective of semeiology.firstly,it makes deep analysis of popular music phenomenon appeared in China and predicts the following creation environment and trend of domestic popular music.The main contents include summarization of development trend of mobile media and explanation of symbol value and characteristics from the perspective of semeiology;secondly,it makes example analysis for characteristics of music symbol and “signifier”,“signified” and “means” of popular music and reveals the influence of mobile phone for the generation of means of popular music symbol.Thirdly,it reviews the essence from phenomena.It mainly starts from the form that mobile phone spread popular music,analyzes the form characteristics of popular music,analyzes the situation of spreading popular music in mobile phone intuitively through data and then analyzes the reasons for the popularity of “Changba” phenomenon through “use and satisfaction” theory.It takes QQ music as example to analyze its marketing strategy to lead “bundling” sales model.Finally,it summarizes domestic popular music creation under mobile media,numerous changes of communication environment and expectations for the future.
