At the end of the 1970s′,China went into a new time of reform and opening. This offered relaxing environment for the development of entertainmental popular culture. Western cultures also went into China directly.The building of belief was appearing falling down. Especially the youngers, people′s spirits were empty when they faced the complicated social environment . The songs of Deng Lijun appered timely. Some fingers who dared to break the tradition,such as li gu yi ,Cheng Lin and Su Xiaoming ,stared to attempt bravely .All of these leaded to the birth and spread of Chinese popular music. Thtough 30 years′development,the Chinese popular music gradually changes from the image which was criticized by the socied ideology to an initial entertainment industry in scale which has be accepted by the public.The first chapter of the thesis discusses the reason of the popularation of the music. And this is various. The yongers who are influenced by the thoughts of after modern are defferent from their fathers in thoughts,felling,value concept and so on. The popular music is in favor of the young in the feeling value. The tone of the music uses simple compass in order to be sung. The melocly is smooth and near spoken languages.And also the public-address, the tuning of the microphone make everyone sing these songs very easily. The popular singing which is of strong character is the main factor that attracts the pulic.Additionelly, the non-art factors also influence the popular music. The character of the singers′appearance and the guesture used during the performance are also important for their welcome. The second chapter is just about all of these.The welcome of the popular music and its influence to the young make the analysis of ideology of the music necessary. The third chapter talks about the words of the songs in three aspects: racism ideology,sex consciousness negative thought concept.At last, we make a reasonal judgement for the popular music. As an important form of the popular culture ,the popular music is influenced more by the after-modern thoughts than by other culture forms.Different from other cultures, the form is more important than the contents in popular music. So the songs whose contents are common, even the same songs can become popular,too. At the same time,as a young subculture,the popular music correctly reflects the value concept and thoughts of the youngers, so it needs discussing about the reason of its welcome. We should analyse it from singes. It is adopted by influencing customers and becomes the cultuve produets of both of the old and the young. We should also actively help the young treat the popular music rationally.
