Analysis Of Using Bei-construction For Thai Student

The Chinese word ‘Bei’ is one difficulty in Chinese foreign studies.But research can allow improvement in these studies.For foreign students using ‘Bei’ sentences,errors in teaching are regarded heavily.But Thai students use ‘bei’ in such a low frequency so the use of ‘Bei’ has not been studied enough.In order to improve the efficiency of Thai students using ‘Bei’ sentences,it is necessary to study more situations of Thai student using ‘Bei’.This article will focus on native Thailand language learners use of ‘bei’.First this paper will give a brief summary on the semantics,syntax,and overview of the use of ‘Bei’ between Chinese and Thailand students.This comparative analysis will help distinguish the similarities and differences when using the word ‘bei’.One way to compare is through a questionnaire between the use of ‘bei’ in China and in Thailand.This will help us find errors on why students use ‘bei’ incorrectly and also give us a way to improve how to teach it properly.The final part of this paper will help explain the situation of what is happening in the Thailand classroom where students learn ‘bei’.It will briefly discuss the textbooks and references that Thailand universities use in their teaching methods.Based on the results of this study,we will be able to put forth the proper suggestions to aid in foreign studies teaching ’bei’.
