The "New Practical Chinese textbook" is currently widely used in Confucius Institute in Latin America.The book is rich in content and exercise,which needs adequate teaching time.However,time is limited and much less in the Confucius institute where I work in Peru's Santa maria Catholic university where students learn 90 minutes per day and four days a week.How to make good use of the book in limited teaching time,so that we can achieve a better teaching effect,which is a question worth exploring.This thesis aims at "new practical Chinese textbook"(Spanish version),through quantitative statistics,questionnaire investigation,interviews,we get the analysis of local students,teachers of Chinese textbooks,the new words,grammar,practice,culture and so on the specific requirements of each part;so that we can know how a teacher deal with the book;At the same time we will make an analysis of various problems about the book.Based on the analysis,I made a specific lesson design as an example,tending to provide some references in using the book in overseas;The last motion is to provide some reference opinions for Chinese textbooks written for Latin America in the future.This thesis consists of five parts.The first part is introduction.The second part is book analysis,including the textbook content,vocabulary,grammar,cultural practice.The third and the forth part is investigation and analysis,mainly from the perspective of teachers and students,respectively,to analyze the usage of the textbook.The fifth part gives an example of a specific lesson design of “I can speak a little Chinese” to show how to choose and adjust the book.The sixth part is conclusion.
