Study On Adverbs In Yan Shi Jia Xun

Yan Shi Jia Xun was written on a unrest period of the northern and southern dynasties, its language is retained on the part of the language characteristics of ancient Chinese period, also blended in this historical period unique language features. As a claim to class work, On the use of language,Yanshijiaxun is bound to follow the principle of model structured and easy to understand.So the author Yan Zhi Tui also need to chose the words which are representative and grammatical functions clearly. As a special kind of speech in the vocabulary system,adverbs has high frequency of using, and the using scope is wide, the role of connecting word and phrase not be ignored. This paper takes 268 adverbs in Yan Shi Jia Xun as the research object,using quantitative statistics, exhaustive description, and synchronic comparison as research method. This three research methods help me to explain the definition of adverb, the distinction between adverbs and other parts of speech and explain the internal classification of adverb. On the exhaustive description, this article counted a total of 268 adverbs, and based on the semantic characteristics mainly, the function and position of features as a reference standard, we divide this268 adverbs in Yan Shi Jia Xun into 8 sub-categories: time adverbs, range adverbs,degree adverbs, negative adverbs, condition adverbs, modal adverbs, and correlative adverbs, cumulative adverb. And these eight kinds of adverbs were analyzed in detail,thus more fully reveals the general picture of the Yan Shi Jia Xun adverbs.On the basis of the classification description, this article examines and summarizes the basic characteristics of adverbs in Yan Shi Jia Xun from four aspects:syllable feature, structure type, grammatical function and successive application.From syllable feature, it can be divided into single syllable adverb and double syllable adverbs in two forms. From structural type, it can be divided into simple adverbs and synthetic adverbs, synthetic adverbs can be divided into compound adverbs and additive adverbs,according to the combination relationship between the internal morpheme,compound adverbs can be divided into different types. From grammatical function, the adverbs in Yan Shi Jia Xun could modify VP, AP, S, Num P and NP. From the perspective and circumstance of the adverbs, the adverbs in Yan Shi Jia Xun could divided into two cases: different categories and the same category.Look from the number, or from the perspective of the category of adverbs include, the adverbs in Yan Shi Jia Xun are a relatively perfect system.
