With the number of migrant children increasing rapidly in cities, realizing social integration has become the present problem which demanded prompt solution for them.Normally social integration can be divided into three dimensions : economic, sociocultural and psychological integration. As the highest level of social integration, psychological integration marks the true realization of social integration. Therefore, the study started with psychological integration of migrant children, and on the basis of previous studies,we regarded migrant children’s psychological integration as a multi-dimensional and dynamic process from three aspects: cognition, emotion and behavior.Study one investigated the effect of social identity threat,an actual encounter for migrant children,on psychological integration via using different text material.Simultaneously, taking into account the dynamic characteristics of the dual identity of migrant children, the perception of group permeability will be included in the study and be researched the effect on psychological integration with social identity threat. On the basis of study one, study two investigated that whether the selfaffirmation can reduce the negative influence of the social identity threat on the migrant children’s psychological integration. The results showed that:(1)Social identity threat can reduce the migrant children’s psychological integration on cognitive and behavioral aspects, while there is no effect on emotional aspect;(2)High perception of group permeability is conducive to migrant children’s psychological integration on emotional aspect, but not on cognitive and behavioral aspects;(3)There is an interaction effect on cognitive aspect of psychological integration between social identity threat and perception of group permeability. The negative effects of social identity threat on the cognitive aspect of psychological integration is more obvious for migrant children in high permeability perception group, while there is no interaction effect on emotional and behavioral aspects;(4)Self-affirmation can promote the migrant children’s psychological integration in cognitive, emotional and behavioral aspects;(5)There is an interaction effect on cognitive aspect of psychological integration between social identity threat and self-affirmation.Self-affirmation can reduce the negative influence of social identity threat on cognitive aspect of psychological integration, while there is no interaction effect on emotional and behavioral aspects.
