"Huang Di Nei Jing" is the famous monograph of chinesemedicine, which constructs the theory of chinese medicine by adopting categories of different ancient traditional philosophy and becomes a classic monogran that integrates chinese medicine with chinese philosophy perfectly. In order to understand the ideological implication of "Huang Di Nei Jing" comprehensively and deeply,we must study the philosophical theory of this book in depth.Previous researches about this book frequently concentrated on the study of Qi,ying and Yang and Five elements, and the study of "the body and the spirit" didn't draw much attention and was neglected frequently. In this paper,we deem that "the body and the spirit" is the important part in "Huang Di Nei Jing".If we can further study this part of the book and distinguish its implication of "the body and the spirit",and eventually study its ideological characteristics and the relationship between "HuangDi Nei Jing" and "the body and the spirit",then we can know the implications and the contributions of the theory of "the body and the spirit" in "Huang Di Nei Jing" on philosophy, undoubtedly which will fertilize the theory of "the body and the spirit" in Chinese traditional philosophy. This paper will try to analyze three contents below;First,we will study and describe the emergence and development of "the body and the spirit" in ancient China, and analyze the ideological origination of the category of "the body and the spirit".At the same time,we will analyze the typical dualism spirit of "Guan Zi" and the monism spirit of "XunZi" and describe it separately. Then we will explore the evolution and development of "the body and the spirit" in different periods, and simultaneously analyze the two dispute about the relationship between "the body" and "the spirit".Second,we will explore the origination of the category of "the body and the spirit" in "Huang Di Nei Jing",and analyze its implications and meanings, the relationship between "the body" and "the spirit" and the ideological features of "the body and the spirit".Third,we will illustrate the influence which "Huang Di Nei Jing" exerts on "Huai Nan Zi" and "LunHeng" in Han Dynasty. Conclusions can be drawn that the category of "the body and the spirit" in "Huang Di Nei Jing" which first appeared in the Warring States period. The content of which was influenced by the theory of "Jing and Qi" in "Guan Zi" and the theory of “the central function of the heart in controlling the spirit”,and eventually developed a more abundant theory of "the body and the spirit" than the theory in pre-Qin period. To summarize the theory of "the body and the spirit" in "Huang Di Nei Jing",four aspects of its contents can be listed as below.First, the body and the spirit is united and cannot be divided and will be supplementary to each other.Second,in the relationship between "the spirit" and "the body",the body is the most important part, and the second is spirit. The existence of "the body" precede the existence of "the spirit" and "the spirit" attaches "the body".Third,"the body" and "the spirit" will influence each other, and the impairment of either will be harm to another.Fourth, treating diseases and maintaining health should also follow the factors and conditions of "the body" and "the spirit" and "the spirit" is the dominate factor. In Han Dynasty,"Huai Nan Zi" inherited the theory of "Jing and Qi" in "Huang Di Nei Jing",andexploredthe relationships between "spirit,Qiand the body" comprehensively. In addition,Wang Chong cited the theory of "the body and the spirit will die at the same time" and the theory of "five spirits are included in five organs" in "Huang Di Nei Jing",and he uses the "Qi" to illustrate the relationship between "the body and the spirit".He deems that our body will disappear and the spirit will not exist independently and becomes the gosts. All of these indicate the huge influence which "Huang Di Nei Jing" exerts on the ideology in Han Dynasty.
