| Youth film is the representative of Taiwan film.Youth film means a genre movies which reflect youth story.After the era of new film in Taiwan,there are a lot of great directors.Such as Yi Zhiyan;Tom Lin;Doze Niu;Giddens Ko;Wei Te-Shen and so on.From Blue Gate Crossing to Our Times,too many films have been produced by these directors.Jiao Xiongping call them the directors of over the Edge.These great youth films can be used to research this question for study.For this question,I try to choose communication mechanism.As we know,there is a whole line from production to show.This process is communication.Harold Dwight Lasswell has came up with a kind of theory called 5W.If we put the theory to films,it will change to a new one.Who means film producers.Says what means the story of film.In which channel means theatre chain;DVD;Internet.To whom means audiences.With what effect means many effect like public praise;box office;public opinion.It will be a best way to research this question for study.This thesis research the youth films in Taiwan through production,consumption,function,prediction.From my thesis,we can learn how the films go through the whole line from production to show;how the mentalities of audiences can affect the box office;how the films also can affect our society.At last,I will predict the future of youth film through the way of positivism.The introduction of the thesis reviews relevant researches about youth films in Taiwan and introduces main ideas about this research.The second section of the thesis is production,includes produce course,distribution and show and content control.The third section of the thesis is consumption,includes cinema consumption and group effect.The fourth section of the thesis is function,includes promoting travel,historic enlightenment,concept communication and negative effects.The fifth section of the thesis is prediction,includes production prediction,consumption prediction and function prediction. |
