Sampling Survey On Kazakh’s National Commonly-used Language And Orthography Usage Of Yili Prefecture

This paper takes the National Commonly-used Language,language use ability,language attitude,language learning and writing ability of the Kazakh in Yili state of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as the research focus,and chooses Kazakhs in "one city and two counties" of Yili state,namely,Yining city,Xinyuan county and Zhaosu county.By using the method of literature,field investigation,quantitative and qualitative analysis and statistical correlation analysis to describe the Language usage,and analyzes the impact of residence,sex,age,migration,education level,occupation and other social factors on their language selection.Then this paper analyzes the factors effecting the Kazakh inYili state in using the national language,and makes specific recommendations for the Country in making language policies in ethnic areas.This paper is divided into four chapters,as follows:The first chapter is Introduction.It introduces the basis of the topic,the practical significance of this topic,the research status and research innovation.The second chapter is the Design of the Investigation Program.It includes the selection of the survey object,the research method used,the design of the sampling plan,the main contents of the questionnaire and the Sample distribution.The third chapter is the Analysis of the Usage of national Language of the Kazakh inYili state.This part includes language skills,language usage on different occasions,language learning,language attitude and text usage.In general,their ability of speaking mandarin is higher than that of writing;mandarin is taught mainly in schools;they approve the important role of mandarin in social communication.The fourth chapter summarizes the findings,finds the problems and puts forward countermeasures.In view of the National Commonly-used Language,language use environment,language identity and Building infrastructure,it is suggested that social propaganda should be strengthened to improve the awareness of Kazakhs’ national identity and to strengthen the study of bilingual education.The fifth Chapter is Conclusion.
