The Research About Suffering Writing Of The Children’s Novels In The New Period

Suffering is one of the eternal themes of literature.The creation of children’s novel has a good tradition of realism and the author of Children literature pay attention to suffering consciously.However,due to the special background of the times,the children’s novel writing before the new period mainly uses the identity of the vulnerable groups of children to denounce the society,politics and history,and the reflection of the subject matter is relatively simple.In the new period,with the development of social stability and change of the concept of the children literature,children’s novels still are suffering writing on the political and historical reflection,but some writing is more concerned about the children’s daily life difficulties and emotional mental pain.In the new period,the research of literature on the subject of suffering has been very high,but the research on the theme of suffering in children’s novels is not much.The main reason is the suffering and growth will always accompany in children’s novel and writing the suffering is to foll the pain of children growth path.So the suffering is only a needful theme in most of the research writing.However,in fact,the writing for suffering theme,not only reflects creation idea of the writer of children’s novel and children’s life understanding and expectations,but also exposed some problems existing in the creation of children’s novel of the new period.The research on the theme of children’s suffering needs further research.The introduction part briefly explains children’s novels and the connotation of suffering,hackle the suffering written rheology of Chinese children’s novels,analyze the present research situation on contemporary children’s suffering novels,and then accordingly illustrates the significance of writing children’s suffering novels in the new period.This thesis’ s main body is composed of three chapters:The first chapter analyzes the causes and types of suffering writing in new period’schildren’s novels.The time factor of suffering,the conceptual transformation of children’s literary creation and the growing characteristics of children themselves are the main causes of suffering writing in the new period.Based on the abovereasons,we can summarize that there are mainly three suffering written types of children’s novels,which includes: historical sufferings such like natural disasters and man-made disasters,exhibit the material deprivation,family misfortune and disadvantages of educational system in children’s daily lives,showing that children themselves have some growing misery like physical disability,emotional confusion and mental confusion.Multiple sufferings stack together and constitute the children’s novels,after underwent several hard sufferings,the children reborn again.The second chapter discusses the salvation of sufferings in the new period.According to the particularity of the children’s identity,the authors provides two ways of salvation,the personal salvation and the guidance from external forces.When confront with sufferings,due to survival instinct and human dignity,children will challenge the sufferings bravely to achieve self-salvation,to explore how the characters take negative ways avoiding sufferings to obtain a temporary relief.The children also will overcome the suffering and achieve salvation by virtue of nature’s conciliation,the guidance’s help and edification of literature and art.The third chapter discusses the significance and limitations of children’s miserable novels in the new period.Analyzes the realistic significance of writing children’s suffering novels according to the literary works.Through the analysis of suffering’s origins in children’s novels,highlights suffering writing’s humanistic solicitude.This paper also explores the limitations and shortcomings of subjective writing and excessive publicity of tribulation caused by adult intervention.The conclusion part generalizes and summarizes the whole thesis,further analyzes the possibility and significance of children’s suffering novels’ writing.
