Post-traumatic stress reaction is a reasonable response of an individual after exposure to a traumatic event. It does not meet the diagnostic criteria for post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD).Individuals who have experienced traumatic events will experience varying degrees of stress response, but only some will become PTSD patients. In the field of trauma research, researchers are almost always using PTSD patients as subjects, few studied in the early trauma after the incident. However, such research on the development of PTSD and its early prevention and intervention is of great significance. At present, most of the research on the cognitive function of PTSD starts from the perspective of attention space, and few people examine the information processing process from the time dimension. In addition, most studies used behavioral experiments to study their cognitive impairment or to use imaging studies to observe their brain activation, but rarely use event related potentials technology from the processing time to analyze their cognitive Processing characteristics. Therefore, this study used the laboratory analogue trauma paradigm to induce the traumatic stress response of the subjects in the early stage after trauma exposure. Then through the behavior experiment and ERP experiment, the characteristics of cognitive processing of traumatic stimulation were discussed.Experiment 1 using a three-factor mixed experiment design for 2(group: trauma exposure group, control group)×2(T1 picture type: trauma map, neutral map)×4(T2 lag:lag2,lag3,lag4,lag6).In experiment 1,we used the Rapid Serial Visual Presentation paradigm(RSVP),in which T1 was the trauma picture and neutral picture and T2 was the neutral picture,to investigate the attentional blink of 38 control subjects and 28 traumatic subjects from the time dimension. The results showed that, under the condition of lag2 and lag3,the detection of T2 of trauma exposure group was significant lower than that of the control group. In the condition of Lag2 and lag6,there was no significant difference in the detection rate of T2 between the trauma and the control group, but the detection rate of the trauma exposure group was still lower than that of the control group. In order to further elucidate the characteristics of ERP,on the basis of experimental1,Experiment 2 using 2(group: trauma exposure group, control group)×2(T1 picture type:trauma map, neutral map)×2(lag: lag2,lag6)three factors mixed experimental design,to explore 23 health subjects and 24 trauma exposed subjects' ERP components. The results showed that compared with the neutral picture, the trauma images induced the N1,P2,N300,P3 components of both groups. At the same time, the trauma images induced greater P2,P3 amplitude and shorter P3 latency of participants in trauma group than those in the control group, but there was no significant difference in N3 amplitude between the two groups. The conclusion of this study is:(1)After the trauma exposure, the participants who exposed to trauma events have stronger attentional capture by the traumatic information and its extended period of the Attentional Blink Suggesting more difficulty disengaging from such cues.(2)Individuals exposed to trauma have a greater attention bias on threatening stimulation than healthy people.(3)Traumatic exposure Individual still put into more cognitive resources to information processing in the late stage of the traumatic stimulus trauma, proving that after exposure to the traumatic stimulus, people have an difficulty in disengaging from trauma information.(4)At the early stage after trauma exposure, individual has a faster memory consolidation rate for traumatic stimulation.
