Research And Design Of Chinese Character Teaching In STBA-PIA

Chinese characters have always been the a focal point and a difficult point in chinese teaching,it is important for teachers to teach Chinese characters and cultivate the students' awareness about Chinese characters.According to tradition,the order of the teaching of the strokes,the radicals,pronunciation and meaning of words,words and word combination can improve the efficiency of teaching Chinese characters.In addition,before teaching,teachers can let students analyze the constitution of Chinese characters,and then,through extra-curricular activities and the use of multimedia teaching,let the students enhance their understanding and practice of Chinese characters.The purpose is to cultivate the students' feelings of the Chinese characters,to improve the students' learning awareness and to not let them give up the study of Chinese characters;secondly,to cultivate the student's ability to recognize,read,write,memorize and search Chinese characters.In the light of this concepts and ideas on the Teaching of Chinese chracters,in this paper this research was conducted at Asia International Friendship Institute Indonesia Medan(hereinafter referred to as: STBA-PIA).Through the questionnaire survey,we found that there are still some problems in the teaching of Chinese characters.According to the conclusion of our investigations,the concepts on teaching and the train of thought for solving the problems,this paper formulates a Chinese character teaching program for STBA-PIA students.In addition,this paper puts forward some suggestions on Chinese teaching.The purpose of the teaching plan and teaching suggestions is to strengthen the position of Chinese character teaching in Chinese teaching,and to train the students to understand and to write Chinese characters.In this paper,the method of Chinese characters learning is not to learn by endless repetition without actual comprehension,but by understanding the origin and history of the Chinese characters,their parts,meaning and writing methods.Students learning naturally the logic behind the constitution of Chinese characters,makes the learning of Chinese characters easier.
