Language is very important thing in society and every language have their own speciality,expecially in family kinship system.Nowadays,Indonesia and China have a good relation.A lot of Indonesian student come to China for study,but in the process of learning Chinese,they will also learn the complex and rich chinese appellation.There are great differences between Chinese and Indonesia kinship system.These reasons make Chinese appellation become a difficult point for Indonesian students to learn Chinese and communicate with Chinese.This thesis have used the research and analysis methods to analyzes the reasons of error that Indonesian students have made,and give some suggestions about teaching and learning methods for teachers and students for TCFL,and hope that it could be helpful as a reference in Chinese kinship terms study.The first chapter introduces the reason of choosing this topic,the significance of the topic,the results of previous studies,research objectives and research methods.In the second chapter is to make a comparative of Chinese and Indonesia appellation to find out the similarities and differences between the two language.In the third chapter,is to analyze the condition of Indonesian students while studying and using Chinese kinship appelations.And analysis result of the problems will reflected in the table.Chapter Four,will introduces the errors of Indonesian students in studying Chinese kinship appelations.This chapter is also analyze the reasons of all errors,it consists of the complexity of Chinese kinship terms,inaccurate understanding the culture background of Chinese kinship terms,the inadequate of teaching materials,and the negative transfer of mother tongue and other learning strategies.Chapter Five,the suggestions to teacher for teaching Indonesian students Chinese appellation,included the teaching materials,teaching methods and students learning this three aspects.
