A Study Of Politeness In Chinese Teaching In Thailand

As a human being,we exists as an individual,but we all live in a collective society.We communicate with language,especial the language.With the increasing of the exchange between China and Thailand,the development of Chinese Teaching in Thailand is getting better year by year.However,according to my survey,it is not optimistic about the situation of polite expression learning for Chinese learners in Thailand.The delicate similarity and great differences between Chinese and Thai cultures cause a great deal of mistakes in the use of Chinese politeness language for Thai students.So it is very meaningful to study the politeness language in Thai Chinese teaching.And I will divide this paper into six parts to study it.Introduction.In this part,I will analyzes the rationality of the topic selection,the content and goal of the thesis,and the research methods used in the paper.Simultaneously,it will also summarizes the research situation of Chinese politeness language,Thai politeness language as well as the politeness language teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The first chapter.In this part,I will make a definition of Chinese politeness language,and make an overview from six aspects of Chinese politeness including the Greetings,Thanks,Praise,Apology,Refuse language,and Farewell language.The second chapter.In this part,based on the classification of Chinese politeness language in the first chapter,I'll analyze the Thai politeness language and make a summary.At the same time,we'll also try to refer to the reasons for the differences between two countries politeness language.The third chapter.In this part,with a base of the results of the questionnaire,I will analyzes the situation of Thai students' study of Chinese politeness language and the reasons of the errors when they use it.The fourth chapter.In this part,I will try to give some advice to Chinese learners and teachers and teaching materials.Conclusion.In this part,I will make a summary of the whole thesis,and put forward the shortcomings of it.
