Objective: in China,the examination is everywhere,and the students' testing psychological problems appear.But in previous studies are more concerned about the imminent entrance of the graduate students,but ignore the junior school freshmen who just experienced a variety of entrance examinations of junior middle school to test students.They have to face more pressure of study and test than ever.Therefore,this study will investigate the general situation of test anxiety and meta-cognitive level of the junior school freshmen in Kunming city.And than make a group counseling manual about test psychology for the junior school freshmen by using the test preplanning,and Study on its application effect.Methods:Investigating the 491 Kunming junior middle school freshmen's test anxiety and meta-cognitive level by using "test anxiety scale" and "Meta-cognition Questionnaire" and analyzing the present situation.And exploring the relationship between test anxiety,meta-cognition and achievement to provide theoretical support for the group counseling.According to the above research results combined with the research on the preparation of a handbook for students use examination psychological group counseling manual,preliminary study of application effect and the use of the experimental method,quantitative research and qualitative research on manual.Results: a survey was conducted among 491 junior high school freshmen in Kunming from three schools:(1)at present,there are about 19.5% of junior school freshmen with moderate and severe test anxiety;(2)the number of middle school freshmen is about 47% of the total number of students;(3)there is a significant negative correlation between test scores and test anxiety.There is a significant positive correlation between test scores and meta-cognition;(4)through the research,the author has made an examination psychological counseling manual which is suitable for the first grade students;(5)intervening students' psychological problems test by using the group counseling,the experimental group compared with control group,the experimental group students' meta-cognitive score significantly higher test anxiety scores decreased significantly,significantly improve the learning achievement;Conclusion: the establishment of the "preplan to test main examinationpsychological group counseling manual" intervention in the junior school freshmen,examination anxiety decreased,meta-cognitive level increased,grades improved,according to preliminary evidence of group psychological guidance manual is better.
