| Based on the cognition and basic translation principles of the terminology,this thesis aims at putting forward translation methods for technological terms in informative texts.According to the semiology,the author briefly analyzes the scientific explanation for the translation of technological terms.Besides,under the guidance of characteristics and basic theories of terminology,six instructive translation principles are concluded.Accordingly,four specific translation methods,which are transliteration,literal translation,free translation and non-translation,can be provided to study the cases generalized from the translation practice.Through case study,this thesis demonstrates that the four translation methods are practical and instructive in coping with the translation of technological terms in informative texts,based on the research result that accuracy and monosemy are the most significant translation principles among the entire principles. |
