Language is a human-specific communication tool.The symbolic meaning of words in language is an important aspect of the meaning of vocabulary,and it is closely related to the culture that uses this language.Chinese and Uighur language are the most widely used in two languages,whether in terms of the number of users or the scope of use.The comparative study of the symbolic meaning of words in its language is not only beneficial to the understanding of these two languages and their cultures,but also helpful to their communication between two communities.Besides,it have a great advantage to the language learner and other people who engaged in bilingual teaching,as well as people engaged in translation work.This paper is mainly divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction part,mainly on the subject of the research background,research purposes,research significance and research ways to discuss.The second part is the definition of the symbolic and symbolic meaning,and the briefly introduce to the source,characteristics,and production method about the symbolic meaning.The third part is the body of this paper,mainly taking astronomical words,human words,animal and plant words and color words for example,analysis the symbolic meaning of each type of words and their similarities and differences between Chinese and Uighur language,including the symbolic meaning of the same or part of the same,symbolic meaning of different or partial different and only in a language symbolic three aspects.The fourth part will be based on the previous comparison of the study,summed up the reasons about the symbolic meaning of the differences in two languages.The fifth part is the conclusion part,mainly summarizes the thesis,and gives a brief explanation of the problems encountered in the writing process and the possible shortcomings in the text,and points out the direction of the effort for the future study.
