From the first appearance in Hollywood movie in the 19 th century of the first generation Chinese actress, Huang Liushuang, many Chinese actresses are going abroad to get recognition in Hollywood in the nineties of the 20 th century, trying to survive the competition from other movie stars in the United States. But they are always shaped by Hollywood as exotic "wonders", two stereotypes appear on the screen, such as charming "dragon lady",sexy, mysterious but dangerous "China doll". Objectively speaking, the stereotypes of Chinese women in Hollywood movies are not only the Hollywood filmmakers' imaginations, but the construction of "others" of American culture featuring of Hollywood, that is, the social imaginaries of American.In 1997, the first Chinese female agents- Lin hui(Michelle Yeoh) appeared in one of the James Bond franchise "Tomorrow Never Dies", Michelle Yeoh went from little star to movie icon in Hollywood depending on her fantastic combat abilities, opened up the new means of expressions namely, the "Kungfu girl", on Chinese women in Hollywood. Soon afterwards, Chinese women emerged in the screen of Hollywood constantly with the aid of Chinese Kungfu, who have superior talents, special skills in martial arts, agility in common, also bright personality, graceful bearing respectively, finally becoming the amazing colors in Hollywood movie characters gallery. Based on the concept of Chinese Kungfu Lady from the vision of Hollywood, Chinese Kungfu Ladies are the main study objects in this article. The writer tries to explore the embodiment mode of the image of Chinese Kungfu Lady from the Hollywood horizon, and classifies them as agents, killers and chivalrous lady in order to explore the common characteristic and difference between each other, and developing the deep-seated culture significance and try to figure out the reasons why the images are different.The thesis mainly includes four chapters. In the first three chapters, combining with other more Chinese Kungfu Lady's image in the Hollywood film type, the writer selected five films "Tomorrow Never Dies", " Charlie's Angles", " Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", " Rush Hour ?", " X-men ?" in order to analysis the Chinese Kungfu Lady deeply. The Chinese Kungfu Ladies are divided into three types as agents, chivalrous lady and killers specifically, according to their different appearances and traits of characters of the three types, detailed analysis will be presented on in this article. Chapter four aims on the comparison and contrast of the three kinds of Kungfu girl image from different perspectives, so as to find out the commonness and difference between each other. Connecting with the image of comparative literature, media studies, variation, feminism, orientalism, the writer try to explain the root cause of the formation of image type and tell the similarities and differences of three kinds of images on the basis of the former three chapters.
