Peiyun Diary is Feng Wanlin's private diary in the late Qing Dynasty,which records the content of her disease and medical experience.On the basis of methods and achievements gained by medical social history especially physical history research.I analyzed "Peiyun Diary" scientifically,supplemented by the analysis of the Feng Wanlin's Poetry with the Association method,and talked about Feng Wanlin's view of disease,as the representative of women in late Qing dynasty from a microscopic point of view.The analysis of the medical practice of Feng Wanlin,which showed her point of view of body,illness and medical,on behalf of the medical ideological level of female home-educated intellectual group in late Qing Dynasty.Those females played a noticeable role in the medical career in late Qing Dynast,in a certain sense,they also reflect the overall level of development of social health in the late Qing Dynasty.This paper is composed of three parts:introduction,text and conclusion,and two appendices as well.The main text consists of four chapters.The first chapter is Feng wanlin's experience.In the late Qing Dynasty,woman who was born in a family of scholar bureaucrat have access to education educated due to male's relatively equal view of mankind in the family.Most of them appeared in a weak image.Though limited by ethics,they can't step out of the chamber,faced with the cruel reality of society,their thoughts are often reflected the profound social theme.This chapter is based on the life of Feng Wanlin,discussed her ideological origins,which is benefiting mankind and killing disease of intellectual woman Feng Wanlin,from her reading and communication.The second chapter is about the body in Peiyun Dairy.Feng Wanlin expressed her feelings of pragmatism and equality by the disease and pain carried by her body.Her body view,which calls for the harmony of body andmind,put a flagrant contrast to the women at that time.The third chapter is pain and disesae in Peiyun Dairy.The medical knowledge of the Feng Wanlin came from family accumulation and women's mutual aid.Although the Chinese and Western medicine have collided,their understanding and expression of the disease was still mainly based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.Chinese literate class was influenced by the thought of father-son ethics,they have more serious ideological and moral discipline in the thought of disease.However,in the late Qing Dynasty,the concept of her knowledge of the disease was in sharp contrast with that of the scholars.The fourth chapter is the medical picture in Feng's world.In the choice of medical method,Feng was less influenced by thought of moral discipline of disease,inclined to Chinese medicine.Feng wanlin holds the kind of concept of medical care which is more close to nature.Proved by mutual evidence of dairy and potery,this study depicted the medical status quo in late Qing dynsty.her view of medicine form a big contrasted to the mass view.
