Research On The Pronouns Of Yaodu Dialect In Shanxi Linfen

Yaodu District located in the south of Shanxi Province which is the only municipal district of Linfen.According to picture B2-13 in Language Atlas of China?2nd Eidtion?,Yaodu dialect belongs to Pingyang piece which is a part of Fenhe cluster,Zhongyuan Mandarin.Based on the traditional research methods,the pronouns of Yaodu dialect are divided to 3 categories: personal pronouns,demonstrative pronouns,and interrogative pronouns.Each of them will be intronduced in seperate chapters.The full text is comprised of 4 chapters including the Introduction part.Chapter 1:Introduction.This part mainly discusses the culture and geography of Yaodu District,the profile of Yaodu dialect,the significance and current situation of the topic,the description of the style,and the related information of the pronunciation partners.Chapter 2 :Personal pronouns.The personal pronouns of Yaodu dialect are different from Putonghua's,they have remarkable characteristics.This chapter has a detailed description of pronunciation,sematic festures and grammatical function of the personal pronouns.It also analysis the source of third personal pronoun“? ₁[n?²¹]”and draws a conclusion:the third personal pronoun“ ? ₁[n?²¹]”comes from the demonstrative pronoun“?”.Chapter 3:Demonstrative pronouns.Demonstrative pronouns of Yaodu dialect are divided into two parts:proximal demonstratives“ ? ”and distal demonstratives “?”.This chapter discusses the four groups pronunciation of the demonstrativ pronouns,and describes the usage of them when referring to different objects.Besides,we have a study on grammaticallization and phonetic iconicity existed in demonstrative pronoun of Yaodu dilact,and analysis the etymology connection between the demonstrative pronoun“?”and quantifier“u?i44”.Chapter 4:Interrogative pronouns.The interrogative pronouns of Yaodu dialect include“?[fu²⁴]”“?[??⁵³]”“?[n?⁴⁴]”“?[tuo²¹]”“?[t?i⁵³]”“?[ts?⁵³]”etc.This chapter have a research on interrogative pronouns listed above.And we also made a brief introduction of the non-interrogative pronouns usage of interrogative pronouns in Yaodu dialect.
