Synchronic And Diachronic Study On The Semantic Field Of "Sew" In Shaanxi Xingping Dialect

The paper arranged the semantic field of “sew” in Shaanxi Xingping dialect,and compared the differences of phonetics,semantics and grammar in the field of “sew” by using the modern semantic field theory and dialect geographical linguistics theory.Then we drew its geographical distribution map by using the technology of GIS.This thesis explored the attribution of Xingping dialect in the transitional zone between Guanzhong Dongfu dialect and the Guanzhong Xifu dialect.Through the description of Xingping dialect and reading of related documents,this paper analyzed the composition and historical changes of the semantic field of “sew” in Xingping dialect during the period from the Pre-Qin Dynasty to the Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties to explore the evolution of the semantic field of “sew” in Xingping dialect.The thesis can be divided into five parts:The first part is introduction.Including the geographical profile and historical evolution of Xingping city.The research results of dialect vocabulary at home and abroad,the theoretical foundation,also the significance of the study.The second part is an introduction to the semantic field of “sew” in Xingping dialect.Based on the investigation materials of Tangfang township in Xingping City,this chapter mainly described the use of the semantic field of “sew” in Xingping dialect,and classified sewing semantic into two subsemantic field,which is the making semantic field and the mending semantic field.Then,we analyzed the differences of the making semantic field and the mending semantic field members in Xingping dialect by sememe analysis.The third part is a comparative study of the internal differences about the semantic field of “sew” in Xingping Dialect.This chapter mainly talked about the phonetic,semantic and grammatical differences of the semantic field of “sew” in Xingping dialect.The fourth part is the diachronic evolution of the semantic field of “sew”.This chapter mainly described about what use of the semantic field of “sew” in the literature.and explored the historical level of the semantic field of “sew” in the Xingping dialect.The fifth part is the conclusion.This chapter summarized the whole text,defined the attribution of Xingping dialect,and pointed out the shortcomings of the reseach.
