Comprehensive Evaluation On The Cooperative Development Potential Of Traditional Village Protection And Rural Tourism Development In Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture

In recent years,with the acceleration of economic development and urbanization,the traditional villages in China are suffering from the hit of modern lifestyles,facing the loss of traditional village look,loss of national culture,deterioration of ecological environment and other problems.Meanwhile,the rise of rural tourism has brought new trend for the nation regional tourism,pushing the rural tourism development to a new height,while bringing the traditional village protection a new threat.Therefore,how to deal with the relationship between the protection of traditional villages and the rural tourism development to achieve good interaction and coordinated development between the two is a hot issue of study.During the period of the 13 th Five-Year Plan,officers in Hunan Province have proposed the strategy of building a large-scale eco-cultural boutique tourism economic zone in western Hunan Province.Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous District(hereinafter referred to as Xiangxi)established the goal of "building Xiangxi District into a well-known ecological cultural park at home and abroad" relying on the traditional village resources to build Tujia and Miao cultural and ecological tourism boutique route.Under this background,based on synergy theory,focusing on the relationship between Xiangxi traditional village protection and rural tourism development,using statistical analysis methods,proceeding comprehensive evaluations and countermeasures researches,the paper reckon that traditional villages not only protect,but also vigorously develop rural tourism.So as to deal with their complicated relationship,in the process of promoting the Xiangxi ecological cultural tourism,it is necessary to integrate it as one with coordinated development.First and foremost,the paper adopts to the literature analysis,field research,expert interviews to make qualitative analysis on the two's collaborative development and potential;and then using the time series method,analytic hierarchy process and comprehensive evaluation to formulate quantitative evaluation on the two's co-development potential,and making countermeasures according to the evaluation results.The paper achieves a relatively good research result,which is mainly embodied in several aspects as follows: firstly,through referring to data,using time seriesmethod,quantitative researches to the collaborative developing relationship between traditional village protection and rural tourism development are made.The result shows that the future tourism income of the two's collaborative development is considerable with much potential;Secondly,with further refining study,through the literature analysis,field research and expert consultancy,combined with Xiangxi District's characteristics,the index system of comprehensive evaluation in traditional village protection and rural tourism development's synergistic development potential is built;Thirdly,the comprehensive evaluation function model of the two co-development potentials is established adopting to the analytic hierarchy process to gain every levels index proportion.And the comprehensive evaluation function of 29 traditional villages in Xiangxi Autonomous Region is applied by this model.The potential rankings of every village's collaborative development are gained.Based on the scores,the quantitative analysis is made;Fourthly,countermeasures and recommendations are put forward for Xiangxi tourism development.
