The thesis consists of three parts, the source texts are mainly introductions and reports of certain technology products, sourcing from their official blogs and some sci-tech websites. The Chinese version is expected to provide domestic customers and researchers with the latest information, keep them in touch with the trend. In the translation process the translator concentrates on how to translate technology brand and product names and what factors have influenced this process. Skopos Theory has been the guidance of this thesis.In the translation report, the author and translator cites some brand and product names she met in the translation practice and some well-known brand name translations, analyzes the influence factors,explains how she tries to translate the brand and product names and concludes some basic rules for the name translation under the guidance of Skopos Theory.
