"Shu Zhai essay" is one of Sheng Ruzi's notes novels in Yuan Dynasty.The book is short,a total of about thirty-two thousand words,which divided into four volumes,including the study of Confucian classics,historiography and literature.It has high literature value.The author Sheng Ruzi is a remnant of the Yuan Dynasty,so he recorded a lot of anecdotes of Song Dynasty.His work provided good research information for the social,economic and political situation in that period.There is also the author's study and critical for poems and passages.For a long time,the research on the "essay" is not sufficient,only a summary of the papers,no one has done special systematically research.So this thesis attempts to fill this gap,to conduct a comprehensive in-depth exploration of "essay".This thesis is divided into the following parts:The first chapter mainly introduces the meaning,research status and research methods of this title,and try to make a accurate position for the academic value of “essay”.The second chapter is on the life of the Ruzi Sheng,including his hometown,years of birth and death,and his career experience.There are less record of his life.The third chapter is the research of “essay” versions,including the collection sites and the basic form of different versions.Then,we arrange the situation of the literature description,especially in the official collected versions.Finally,according to the documents and existing status,we make the analysis and evaluation of the versions.The fourth chapter is the study of historical content.According to the "essay" characteristics of historical data,we divided it into self-recording historical data,copy historical data,and historical critical data.So we can explore the internal style characteristicsof each part,and find the "essay" historical value.The fifth chapter is the literature research part.First,we analysis the passage style related literature;Second,we explore the Confucianism meaning of it,including loyalty and filial piety spirit,the inner spirit of hard working.Finally,we summarize the literature value of its content.The sixth chapter will focus on "essay" in "Cao Dongquan","Long Zhongyang"," Wuxi zhongxing song " three issues a resolution,try to correct it's lost and at last we analyze some deficiencies of this thsis.
