The Essence Of Poetry Of Tang And Song Dynasty And Lu You's Poems

This paper is divided into three chapters, tries to analyze the Patriotic Poems and the Leisure Poems of Lu You in The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty, and then pointed out the historical significance of The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty in Lu You's poetry spread.Chapter one, introduce the characteristics of The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty. Known as the "Royal" poetry anthology, is the implementation of specific behavior of Dynasty culture policy, also can reflect the monarch's attitudes towards dynasty art and political strategy. As a poetry anthology that decided by the king Qianlong, Compared with other poetry anthology, The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty has so many advantages since the birth of the beginning. In addition, The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty also have the following characteristics: first,as the poets selected by Qianlong,Li Bai, Du Fu, Han Yu, Bai Juyi, Su Shi, Lu You, were the finest poets in the Tang and Song dynasties in Qianlong's view. Second, the purpose of the official for publishing The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty, was to show their attitude of the debate over poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty. Third,The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty was repeatedly published, showed its popularity was higher than the general anthology. The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty also had a great influence on the later poetry anthology compiling,especially in the patriotic poet image of Lu You.Chapter two, analyze the Patriotic Poems of Lu You in The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty. The influential poetry anthology of Lu You before 1751, the home of the selectors were mainly formed by the literati in the south of the Yangtze river.These people were both selectors and readers, therefore, their aesthetic lead the reception of Lu You's poems in early Qing Dynasty. Because of the preference of Lu You's Leisurely Poems by these literatus, in early Qing Dynasty, not only the number of Lu You's patriotic poems were very rare, but the emotional expression was very implicative,and feeling very sad. The Patriotic Poems of Lu You in The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty were far above the early Qing Dynasty poetry in number. And the passion of the Patriotic Poems of Lu You in The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty was significantly exposed as well, although there is a sentimental color,but most of the poems showed Lu You's confidence of homeland restored. So, we think The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty restored original appearance of Lu You's Patriotic Poems to a certain extent.Chapter three, analyze the Leisure Poems of Lu You in The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty. As a literati, Lu You was similar to the selectors mentioned above. And Lu You's hometown is in Shanyin, had geographic closeness with the literatus,Chai Sheng had said,"Lu You is the talent of Zhejiang Province". So, these literatus were obsessed in Lu You's Leisurely Poem. The number of Lu You's Leisure Poems accepted in early Qing Dynasty is a big number, there were so many seven-character octave and group of poems in it. Moreover, because the choice of Lu You's Leisure Poems in early Qing Dynasty was focused on the age after age 65,,the emotion revealed in the poetry was fully peaceful. The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty chose so many kinds of poetry genre of Lu You's Leisure Poems, although still attaches great importance to the seven-character octave, between all kinds of genres,there was a kind of balance remaining. In addition, a large number of Pailu poems replaced the group poems, for avoiding procrastination. The Essence of Poetry of Tang and Song Dynasty contains a variety of emotions, including happiness and sadness.
