Comparation Of Christian Feelings In The Works Of Xu Dishan And Balzac

Since ancient times,there have been many intimate connections between religion and literature.Christianity is one of the largest religions in the world,and it has comparative and great effects on the history of literature of the East and the West.Many writers apply some useful things to their works,for example: literary quotations,material,plot,characters,and so on.So to speak,christianity has become important culture resources in writers' heart.As well,the literature of China and France influenced by Christianity.Because of big difference between literary tradition,aesthetic taste,experience,so different writers' works are different.In this thesis,I will take Xu Dishan and Balzac as examples,the works of Xu Dishan are Yu Guan and Zui Wang Lao Zhu,the works of Balzac is A Country Doctor and Country Priest.Through comparative we can get four same points:1,They all want to find an outlet for people based on reality.2,They all approval the same religious outlook:‘unity of moral knowledge and practice'.3,They all sincerely call the Christ's personality.4,They all want to express their good ideal by religion.But there is a difference are ‘find faith in suffering'and‘retrieve faith in evil'.Aiming at these similarities and differences,I will find reasons from three aspects.In the end,I will summarize the significance,based on ‘humanist spirit construction',‘the impact of Christianity in literature of China and France',‘the influence of religion in literature'.
