Aims to promote cultural exchanges and to enhance mutual understanding between China and America, this article obtains from the factors under the cross-cultural communication. Based on the cultural values above, it focuses on many differences of sino-american cultural values that help people understand the existing obstacles in the process of cross-cultural communication, including the form of values and the orientation.Through the next chapter of examples upon experiences of American students living and studying in China, the analysis tends to remind teachers that cultural barriers are the essential issues for their teaching strategies and principles.and eventually should follow the teaching principles and teaching strategies. By changing this problematic situation,those all foreign students would gain their learning skills and eventually they would like to realize more cultural differences. Besides, it is effective for visionary Chinese teaching atmosphere.This paper is divided into five parts: the introduction part is at the first side. The first chapter is an overview meaning of cross-cultural communication and its mutual relations with culture. The second chapter firstly explains the concept of cultural values, and then compares differences of cultural values between China and America. The third chapter uses case analysis of different cultural values, which describes the sino-american cultural problems of American students who live under a strange country and communicate upon two different languages. The fourth chapter explains potential problems through cultural communication, then gives two specific suggestions for teaching improvement. The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
