With the advent of the era of educational globalization,English as a compulsory course for college students is widely used in the world.English listening as the core of oral English is not only a leading index to measure whether college students participate in international competition and cooperation,but also is the most important factor of college English courses and teaching.For a long time,China's College students' English listening and speaking level is still far more perfect,although so many scholars have made unremitting efforts in various aspects of College English listening teaching and learning reform,because of the complicated language,various English listening materials,diversified individual and so on,it will easily make college students inspired with resistance when they are listening English.For this reason,this study analyzed the specific reason of non-English majors students' learning disabilities with questionnaire and interviews,on the basis of the relevant theory to explore learning strategies which will have an impact on English listening course reform.There are five chapters in the essay to detail the topic mentioned above.Firstly,explained the reason of selection,significance,objectives,ideas and research design,and summarize the results of current research about English listening disabilities.Secondly,described the theories of information processing,second language acquisition,embodied cognition and apperceptive learning,it was the theoretical foundation and basis for the argument and further research.Then,on the over design level,this part of the essay detailed the key factors of non-English students' English listening disabilities with questionnaire and interviews.And then,the part of the study analyzed the reasons of non-English students' English listening disabilities based on the results of empirical study.Finally,this study generally summarized the characteristics of English listening learning and analyzed the existed actual problems of the current English listening for the non-English students,and put forward practical learning strategies of English listening.The results of the study showed that the key factors were effected by their gender,grade,major and place of origin.Overall,non-English college students' listening ability is in a lower level.The survey showed that most college students have three English listening disabilities,including storage resistance of listening knowledge which consist of weak phoneme recognition ability,single input and understanding of vocabulary and ignorance of lexical and syntactic structures;perceived resistance of hearing apperception which involve perception of listening information affected by attention deviation,scrappy transient acquired memory of listening materials,and the negative transfer of mother tongue thinking on listening thinking;and emotional regulation resistance of English listening that contain anxiety emotions disturb the normal reception of listening information,negative automatic thinking encourages thepsychology of self-esteem and the deficiency of ego-enhancement drive hindered listening learning.Coping strategies of listening obstructions from the study that college students should listen and distinguish the meaning of pronunciation and intonation,construct the lexical network diagram in schema library and master the grammar rules or system with grammar construction,which can be regarded as listening knowledge strategies;college students should choose reasonable attention of listening,prolonged auditory memory and cultivate English thinking to think or feel listening materials in English,which can be regarded as cognitive promotion strategies;college students should try your best to recognize yourself and make full use of hierarchical learning pattern,give yourself positive hints and attribute correctly,and listen English with full exploration and pleasure,which can be regarded as emotional regulation strategies.
