Comments On Marxism In Schopenhauer’s View Of Happiness

Happiness is a hot issue that people pay attention to it in contemporary society,and it has been increasingly valued in the field of philosophical.In recent years,Schopenhauer’s view of happiness has gradually been concerned and researched by scholars.This paper based on the the theory of will which is the theoretical starting point of Schopenhauer’s view of happiness,and expounds the main contents of Schopenhauer’s view of happiness,analyzes Schopenhauer’s view of happiness based on Marxism’s methodology and Marxism Needs theory for evaluation basis.Will is the starting point of Schopenhauer’s view of happiness,which is mainly derived from Plato’s theory of mind,the idea of Hinduism and Buddhism,and Kant’s "the thing in itself".He defined the happiness of the world of representationas as the satisfy of will and thinks that happiness is negative,passive,limited.But happiness of secular society also can be obtained from the oneself,the property owned by the people and the appearance,and people can restrain their own desires,pursue art to the road of final happiness and relief.On the basis of comprehensively grasping Schopenhauer ’s view of happiness,it analyzes and evaluates the people’ s own influence on happiness and helps people to reduce the positive meaning of the pursuit of external material desires.It also points out that Schopenhauer ’s happiness with a strong tendency to pessimism and fatalism,and pointed out that Schopenhauer too much emphasis on human irrational factors,while ignoring the social nature of people.Under the prevailing social environment,Schopenhauer’s view of happiness can weaken the pursuit of people’s desire,inspiring people to get their own happiness,and it has some inspirational significances.
