A sense of security is a premonition of danger,is a kind of inner feelings(powerful or weak)when dealing with crisis,which includes two main factors:certainty in control and interpersonal security.Security can be interfered and measured.Freshmen are in an important turning point in their lives,whether there is a sense of security has an important influence on the freshmen to adapt to the new environment,the intervention of freshmens' security will help them adapt to the environment quickly and grow healthily.Objective: Based on the theory of sense of security and group counseling theory,design a group counseling program suitable for freshmens' sense of security,to improve the security of freshmen.Method: The study used pretest,aftertest and trace test paradigm,taking 20 freshmen from a university in Nanchang as the research object,randomly divided into experimental group and control group,each group of 10 people.The experimental group was given once a week,120 minutes each time,a total of 10 times of group counseling intervention,but the control group without any psychological intervention.According to the pretest,aftertest and three month follow-up test scores of the security scale,the experiment was used to measure the effect of dependent variables,and through the analysis of qualitative materials to supplement the experimental results,to test the impact of this intervention on freshmen's sense of security.Result:(1)Before intervention,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(Me=3.018±0.441,Mc=2.981±0.356,P=0.590)(2)There was significant difference in the level of security before and after intervention in the experimental group(Mb=3.018±0.441,Ma=4.318±0.243,P<0.01)(3)There was no significant difference in the security level before and after intervention in the control group(Mb=2.981±0.356,Ma=2.975±0.310,P=0.817)(4)After intervention,there were significant differences in the level of security between the experimental group and the control group(Me=4.318±0.243,Mc=2.975±0.310,P<0.01)(5)The results of follow-up test after 3 months of intervention showed that:there was significant difference between before test(P<0.01),and no significant differencebetween the aftertest(P>0.05)(6)Tracking results show that,there was no significant difference between the tracking results and the pretest and post test in the control group(P>0.05)Conclusion: Targeted group counseling can significantly improve the security of freshmen.
