Homosexual is exactly a paradox that a fitness-reducing phenotype should be selected against, but it is nonetheless surprisingly common in human populations.Recent researches predict that homosexuality is phenomenon in which recently evolved androgen-influenced traits commonly display gonad-trait discordances at substantial frequency, and that the molecular feature underlying most homosexuality is not DNA polymorphism(s)-but epi-marks-evolved to canalize sexual dimorphic development. These epi-markers sometimes carryover across generations and contribute to gonad trait discordances in opposite-sex descendants.Researches also demonstrated that same-sex mating among fish Poecilia mexicana(a kind of fish)could even increase male reproductive fitness that males improve their chances of future heterosexual mating(homosexuality mate-choice copying). These researches suggest that direct reproductive benefits gained by males exhibiting homosexual behavior may promote occurrence of homosexual behavior and facilitate the evolution of homosexual. In this article,in order to investigate whether homosexuality matechoice copying promote occurrence of homosexual, the sexual Penna model was modified, and then the effects of in the rate of homosexual from homosexuality was simulated. The following results were found:When unerased rate of epi-markers is low(P=0.1),homosexual is evolved in a low rate(0.018),the population evolved a negative homosexuality mate-choice copying mechanism against homosexuals. When unerased rate of epi-markers is high(P=0.5 & 0.75),homosexual is evolved in a higher rate than before, but still in a low rate(0.08).the benefits from homosexuality mate-choice copying are occurred, which brings adaptability to homosexual. In conclusion,in combine with results obtained by other researchers, this study suggests that when rates of unerased demethylation are high, the behavior of mate choice copying promotes evolution of homosexual.
